Quinte West Pop-ups
June 11, 2025
I’m popping up at the Quinte West Pop-ups! It’s pop-up inception!!
📆: We’ll be at Centennial Park in Trenton this Friday-Sunday June 13th-15th 11AM-7PM, and again next Fri-Sun June 20th-22nd.
What we will have: Wildlife painted with berries and bark. Flying squirrels and bunnies woodburned onto cherry wood discs. Beavers made from sheep, and harvest baskets covered in flowers. Kits to help you needlefelt your own little owl, using all local roving. And greeting cards, because snail mail forever.
…And more!
I didn’t have a real camera with me today. So here’s just a quick pic of the “before”. I’ll be sure to share the “after” too, once we’re all nestled in our temporary nest.
Come say hello! You don’t have to buy anything. From me anyways. We can totally just chat about wild inks and wildlife. But I am directly across the “street” from Barbacoa Boyz, whose menu I am taking as a personal to-do list. And there is also wood-fired pizza, and Thai food and Korean food and ice cream and momos! Other neighbours include turtles and beaver and osprey… it’s a lovely spot right by the water. This is a not-great photo of a really-great view, come see for yourself!
A few notes on Accessibility + Covid: I will be in one of the wooden vendor cabins, a ~10x16' shed. There is a very small step at the entrance. Items are visible without coming up and in, and you are welcome to purchase from outside. The cabin is entirely open at one end, and has two windows for cross-ventilation. We will have a HEPA filter running in the shed at all times. I practice mask-mirroring. If you are wearing a mask, I will put one on too, no questions asked. If you have accessibility needs we are not addressing, please reach out: You are welcome here.
I have to go finish making a basket now… but see you soon! Let’s do this, June bugs! 💚
